I have studied computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, also taking a few classes in media art as a subsidiary subject from 2000 to 2006. Subsequently, I have worked as a freelancing software engineer in project in Germany and Switzerland, mostly in the media and arts sector. Since 2008, I work as a research associate in the joint Ph.D. program of SAP Research Darmstadt and the Telecooperation group.
My research mainly revolves around large display interaction and group model building. More specifically, for my Ph.D. thesis, I explore the use of large interactive displays for group model building and design interaction techniques that will enable easy and efficient group interaction with graphical models, to facilitate a more flexible modeling process with increased end user participation.
