As users get accustomed to an increasing diverse range of mobile devices, personal computers, intelligent home and office appliances, as well as shared public devices, collaborative multi-device systems are emerging to benefit from using together devices of different users and different capabilities. Within this project, we focus on
Multi-Browsing: user-centric web browsing using multiple devices.
We have developed a conceptual framework for the systematic design of such systems in symbiotic environments (see our publication at MUM08). Moreover, we have developed an architecture for multi-device web-browsing systems.
Key research directions include i.a.:
- Multi-device web browsing
- Collaborative web browsing
- Web page annotation and partitioning
- User modeling
- Cluster analysis
