Hessian Minister for Science tested new version of TK's Smart Table, Permulin

During a recent event at the Future Innovation Lab of TU Darmstadt's spin-off company Leap-In-Time by Prof. Ruth Stock-Homburg, the Hessian Minister for Science and Arts, Boris Rhein, was one of the first to have a closer look on TK's new version of our Permulin Smart Table. Minister Rhein told "this is fascinating" and was impressed by the interaction possibilities and performance of the device. He further added, that "this would be great for cabinet meetings".

Permulin is a custom-built tabletop where each user is able to view private and shared digital contents on the same screen. This allows co-located collaboration with personalized in- and output for each team member. Earlier this year, TK started working on an updated version of the Permulin tabeltop which not only has almost doubled in size, but also increased the resolution up to 4K. The new Permulin tabletop features high quality standards and was created in collaboration with Vario and Schott.

The visit was also featured on the local news-channel rheinmaintv and the TU Darmstadt front page.
